Fulfillment By Amazon

Items "Fulfilled by Amazon" are shipped from an Amazon Fulfillment Center to you. All of our standard shipping rates and policies apply to these items, including FREE Super Saver Shipping on qualifying orders over $25.
"Fulfilled by Amazon" items are sent to you via one of our carriers (US Postal Service, UPS, FedEx, etc. ) at whatever delivery speed you choose (standard shipping, 2-day shipping, etc).
After you place an order, the carrier, ship date, and estimated delivery date for your package will be listed in Your Account and can be found in your shipment confirmation e-mail. If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by clicking the "Track packages" link in Your Account. Amazon also handles all customer service and product returns for "Fulfilled by Amazon" items. Placing an Order

Placing an order with The Comedy Central Shop/Amazon.com is easy. There's no need to create an account first. You automatically create an account when you place your first order online. (We cannot accept orders by phone, fax, or e-mail. All orders must be placed online. )

Here are the steps you need to follow to place an order.

  1. Find the Items You Want
  2. Add the Items to Your Shopping Cart
  3. Proceed to Checkout
  4. Sign In/Create a New Account
  5. Enter a Shipping Address
  6. Choose a Shipping Method
  7. Provide Payment Information and a Password
  8. Review and Submit Your Order
  9. Check Your Order Status

Note: Some items offered on our website are fulfilled by Amazon Merchants or through Amazon Marketplace. Payment, shipping, and return policies may vary by type of order and by seller. The seller of each item in your order will be clearly noted on the View Shopping Cart page.

1. Find the Items You Want

First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top navigation bar of each store. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its product detail page.

2. Add the Items to Your Shopping Cart

If you want to order an item from Amazon.com, click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button on the item's product detail page. (If you want to buy the product from another seller, click the link in the More Buying Choices box instead and follow the directions. ) Once you've added an item to your Shopping Cart, keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the cart at the top of every page of our website.

3. Proceed to Checkout

Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. If you decide that you don't want to purchase a particular item right away, click the "save for later" button next to the title. The item will move from your current Shopping Cart to the "Saved Items--To Buy Later" list below. If any of the items are to be gifts, click the "add gift-wrap/note" checkbox under the item. (You'll be given a chance to order gift-wrap and/or add a note during the checkout process. )

When you're ready to place an order for everything in the "Shopping Cart Items--To Buy Now" section of your cart, click the "Proceed to checkout" button. You will be taken to the first page of the order form.

The instructions below outline each step of our online order form. If at any point you encounter difficulty or receive an error message, please consult our troubleshooting tips.

4. Sign In

Enter your e-mail address. (Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders. ) Indicate that you are a new customer. (Do not fill in the password field; you will be asked to provide a password for your account later in the process. ) Click the "Sign in" button.

5. Enter a Shipping Address

Tell us where you would like to ship your order. If you are shipping to an APO or FPO address, click here [This link should take you to our section regarding APO, etc. restrictions] for further instructions. If you are shipping to a post office box, please enter the words "PO BOX" before your box number to ensure that the order is delivered by the U.S. Postal Service.

6. Choose a Shipping Method

Consider how quickly you would like to receive your order, and choose a shipping method. If you would like to take advantage of FREE Super Saver Shipping and your order qualifies, be sure to select it as your shipping option; you will not receive free shipping automatically. Please note that it's not possible to request a specific carrier.

We will estimate shipment dates for you on the order form, just before you submit your order. You will see estimated shipment and delivery dates in the e-mail we send you to confirm your order.

If there is more than one item in your order, you will be given the following options:

  • Group my items into as few shipments as possible
  • I want my items faster. Ship them as soon as they become available (at additional cost)

If you choose the first option, we'll consolidate your items into the fewest shipments possible. We'll show you the minimum number of shipments needed to complete your order. If you choose the second option, we will ship items to you as they become available, beginning with those already in stock. You'll be charged a per-shipment fee for each shipment. Also, please note that the availability listings on our website are intended for single-copy orders. Orders for many copies of the same item may take longer to assemble.

The shipping charge for your order will be displayed on the order summary page just before you submit your order.

7. Provide Payment Information and a Password

Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. Amazon.com accepts American Express, Diners Club, Discover, JCB, MasterCard, Eurocard, Visa, Visa Check Cards, payment from your bank account, Amazon.com gift cards, Amazon Store Card, and Webcertificates. All orders must be prepaid. If you're paying with a credit card, enter the number without spaces or dashes.

Choose a password for your account so that when you come back to Amazon.com in the future, you can use the same shipping address and method of payment you provided during this first order. You will also be able to use your password to make changes to your order and account information. Make sure to choose something you will remember the next time you want to place an order.

  • Passwords are case sensitive. For instance, "PASSWORD" and "Password" are two different passwords. When choosing a password, remember the capitalization you use.
  • Passwords must be a minimum of 6 characters.
  • It's best to avoid passwords that are easy to guess, such as "secret, " "password, " or "letmein. " We also suggest that you avoid using your name, e-mail address, or other personal information that is easily obtained.
  • Though it's not a requirement, adding numbers or special characters to your password will make it even stronger. For example, the password "rivers2!%" is a much stronger password than "rivers. "
  • Guard your password carefully. Remember, anyone who knows your password may access your account.

8. Review and Submit Your Order

Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the "Place Your Order" button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.

9. Check Your Order Status

If you would like to review or change something about the order you placed before it enters the shipping process, click the Your Account link in the top right corner of most pages on our site. Here you will be able to change the particulars of your order without having to contact us.

Shipping and Delivery Information

The easiest way to see exact shipping charges for an order is to put items in your cart, proceed to checkout, and view the order summary. You'll be able to adjust shipping options and see exact shipping charges. You can always cancel or return to your shopping without actually placing the order.


Delivery Time

When you plan an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates will appear in the order confirmation email.


Shipping Preferences

Sometimes you need to receive certain items in your order sooner than others. That's why, every time you place an order via our order form, you can choose from one of these shipping preferences:

  • Group my items into as few shipments as possible
  • I want my items faster. Ship them as soon as they become available (at additional cost)

Group my items into as few possible shipments as possible

Trying to keep shipping costs down? Choose this first option. We'll consolidate your items into the fewest shipments possible. (We'll always show you the minimum number of shipments needed to complete your order. ) Depending on the availability of the items you're purchasing, you might have to wait a bit longer for your order to ship, but you'll save money on shipping.

The number of shipments we make for your order is dependent upon:

  • Our fulfillment network: To serve our millions of customers more efficiently, Amazon.com has several different fulfillment centers located across the United States. These centers often house different types of products. If you order dissimilar items--say, a book, a computer, and a cordless drill--they may ship separately, depending on where in our fulfillment network they happen to be located.
  • Items requiring special shipping and handling: Items that require special shipping and handling (for example, items that are large and/or heavy) are marked on their product detail pages as such and will ship separately from other items in your order. Note that in some cases, these items require an adult signature upon delivery.

In some cases, you might receive more shipments than we indicated you would when you placed your order. Regardless, we will never charge you more for shipping than the amount that was originally quoted to you at the time you place your order.

Be aware that items listed as having Not Yet Released or Back Ordered availability can potentially delay shipments that are designated to be grouped into as few shipments as possible.

Ordering items with different availabilities? Don't let the slower items hold up the rest of your order! Choose this option to have your items ship as they become available, beginning with those already in stock. If some of the items in your order are eligible for Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery, you should choose this option if you want to receive those items quickly--otherwise, the delivery of the items may be delayed.

You'll be charged a per-shipment fee for each shipment, but you'll get some or all of your items earlier than you would have if you'd chosen the "Group my items into as few shipments as possible" option. Of course, we'll still attempt to save you money by consolidating items where it makes sense to do so.


Merchant Shipping

Amazon Merchant shipping rates, methods, and terms are set by individual merchants, not by Amazon.com. This information will appear on your order summary page when you are ready to make your purchase. How are Shipping and Delivery Dates Calculated

You'll see an estimated shipping or delivery date for each shipment on the order form, just before you place your order. An estimated delivery date (or date range) will also appear in Your Account once you've placed your order.

Our estimated shipping dates are based on several factors, including the destination address, the shipping options you've chosen, and how quickly we can obtain and assemble items for shipment (the availability time listed on a product's detail page). Also, orders for multiple items or multiple copies of a single item can take longer to assemble before we're able to ship them to you.

We calculate delivery estimates by taking the estimated shipping date and adding the time it takes a package to travel from our facilities to your destination address, based on the shipping speed you've chosen.

For example, if you order an item that is listed as "Usually ships in 2-3 days" and select standard U.S. shipping (which typically takes 3-5 business days), you can use the chart above to determine that your order should arrive 5-8 business days after you place it.

International customers: When orders shipped internationally reach the destination country, they may be subject to customs clearance procedures which can cause delays beyond original delivery estimates.

Calculating Cost

Shipping costs for orders depend upon the method and option you choose. If you choose to ship items as soon as they become available, we'll charge you full per shipment fees for each as well as per-item for each item.

Please also note that the shipping rates for many items will be weight based. The weight of any such item can be found on the detail page. To reflect the policies of the shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.


How much does shipping cost?

Delivery Time

When you plan an order, we will estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of your items and the shipping options you choose. Shipping date estimates will appear in the order confirmation email.

What if the estimated delivery date has passed and I still don't have my order?

If the order is being fulfilled by another seller, you'll need to contact that seller directly; you'll find a link in the order summary in Your Account.

Orders that are fulfilled by Amazon.com and shipped via a trackable method (such as UPS) will have tracking information available in Your Account. Please check this information if available and read through the following options:

  • If the tracking information indicates the package has been delivered, please check with your neighbors or family members. Packages are occasionally left with neighbors, a building manager, or are placed somewhere relatively safe such as your porch, garage, or even behind bushes.
  • If the tracking information indicates the package is being returned to us, or if the address is incorrect, it may have been undeliverable.
  • If there is no tracking information or you cannot locate the package and it is not being returned as undeliverable, please e-mail us.

What if I want to get my items faster?

You can select a different shipping speed by clicking the radio button next to that option on the order form. Note that changing your shipping speed to a faster method will not change the estimated shipping date, but your estimated delivery date should improve (subject to item availability). If you want to change your shipping speed after placing the order, visit Your Account.


If I request One-Day Shipping, will I get my order the next day?

Not all of the items listed on our site are available immediately, so selecting One-Day or Two-Day Shipping does not necessarily mean your order will arrive in one or two days. There is no weekend pickup or delivery for One-Day or Two-Day Shipping. Also, when you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.

Calculating Shipping Costs

We charge a single flat fee for each shipment, plus additional, smaller fees for each item in that shipment. The total shipping charge will be displayed on the last page of the order form, before you submit your order. Here is the equation we use to calculate the total shipping cost:

(Highest Applicable Per-Shipment Cost) + (All Per-Item Costs) = Total Shipping Fee

For example, if you choose standard shipping for an order that contains a video game console and a video game, you will be charged the higher Per-Shipment Cost for the video game console and the Per-Item Cost of each item: 7.49 + .99 + .99 = $9.47 total shipping cost. Note: Per-Item Costs for some products are a flat rate per unit while for others the Per-Item Cost is based on the product's weight.


Track Your Package

If you have a tracking or delivery confirmation number, you can track your package by clicking the "Track packages" link in Your Account. The shipping method and carrier for your package will be listed in Your Account and in your shipment confirmation e-mail. If you need to contact the carrier, you'll find contact information below.

Note: To speed delivery, shippers may not location-scan all of their shipments. When shipping volume is high, packages are processed in bulk, and the first time a package is scanned may be upon arrival at a regional hub near the destination, or even when the package is delivered. If you don't see any tracking data for your shipment, and the estimated delivery date has not yet passed, please do not be concerned.

Some shipments, such as Standard International shipments, are not traceable.

If you're not sure whether your order has been shipped, check the status of your recent orders in Your Account.

Why Tracking Information May Not be Available

Sometimes tracking information won't be available. This may be due to the timing of tracking-database updates by the carrier, the sophistication of a particular carrier's tracking system, or the lack of full integration into Amazon.com's tracking systems.

Other common reasons include:

  • Some shipping methods, such as Standard International, are not traceable.
  • Marketplace sellers sometimes do not provide Amazon with tracking information for their orders.

If you don't see any tracking data for your shipment, and the estimated delivery date has not yet passed, please do not be concerned.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us, and we know that you care about how information about your order is used and shared. We would like our international customers and customers shipping products internationally to be aware that cross-border shipments are subject to opening and inspection by customs authorities.

Also, we may provide certain order, shipment, and product information, such as titles, to our international carriers, and such information may be communicated by the carriers to customs authorities in order to facilitate customs clearance and comply with local laws.

If the order is a gift, the package is marked "Gift, " but the cost of the item is still stated on the customs form.

Customs authorities require the value of the gift item to be stated directly on the package.

Returns & Replacements

The above terms (including, if applicable, terms related to the Import Fee Deposit) also apply to the shipment of any replacement product that might be shipped if there is a problem with the original shipment. Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Orders that are shipped to countries outside of the U.S. may be subject to import taxes, customs duties and fees levied by the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of an international shipment may be subject to such Import Fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by the recipient; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country; you should contact your local customs office for further information. When customs clearance procedures are required, it can cause delays beyond our original delivery estimates.


Amazon Global Program

Import Fees Deposit

The Amazon Global Program offers customers a unique service: duty and tax estimation during checkout and customs clearance on your behalf for certain eligible countries. When products are shipped to the eligible countries using eligible ship options included in the Amazon Global Program, an Import Fees Deposit will be estimated and collected for the shipment. With your authorization, such funds will be used by the carrier or another agent to pay the Import Fees on behalf of you (or the recipient's behalf) to the appropriate authorities of the destination country

Which products does the Import Fees Deposit apply to?
Items sent to eligible countries via Priority International Shipping and in certain cases via Standard or Expedited International Shipping will have an estimated Import Fees Deposit applied to the order. The payment of import fees is the responsibility of the importer and is levied based on the laws of the country into which the products are being shipped.

What if the actual Import Fees are less than the Import Fees Deposit I was charged?
If the actual Import Fees (paid by carrier on behalf of the recipient to the customs and tax authorities of the destination country) are less than the Import Fees Deposit collected by us on your behalf, you will automatically be refunded the difference to the payment method you used for the order. You will receive a notification e-mail to confirm the amount of the refund. The process may take 4 to 8 weeks.

What if the actual Import Fees are more than the Import Fees Deposit I was charged?
For items sold by Amazon Export Sales, Inc. , you will not be charged any additional fees if the actual Import Fees exceed the Import Fees Deposit we estimated. For items sold by Merchants, please check the applicable Merchant's policies.

How do you estimate the amount of the Import Fees Deposit?

The Amazon Global Program uses third-party software to determine the estimated duties, taxes, and fees associated with each item in the order for the destination country selected during the checkout process.

How can the estimated Import Fees Deposit differ from the actual import duties and fees payable?

The Import Fees Deposit is an estimation of the taxes and duties that may apply and is not an actual calculation of the taxes and duties. In addition, customs regulations and tax rates applicable to certain goods may change between the date the taxes and duties were estimated and the applicable taxes and duties on the date of entry. Also, classification of goods in various countries and regions may be different.


Import Fee Deposit Terms & Conditions

Each item in your order is sold by Amazon Export Sales, Inc. ("Amazon Export") or the merchant that the item is specified as sold by ("Merchant"). Items for shipment to countries outside of the United States may be subject to taxes, customs duties and fees levied pursuant to the laws of the destination country ("Import Fees"). The recipient of the shipment is the importer of record in the destination country and is responsible for all Import Fees.

With respect to each item for which Import Fees have been estimated and collected, you authorize Amazon Export or the Merchant (as applicable) to designate a carrier ("Designated Carrier") to act as your agent and on your behalf with the relevant customs and tax authorities in the destination country, to clear your merchandise, process and remit the actual Import Fees for such item in your name and on your behalf. Amazon Export or Merchant (as applicable) is not an agent and provides this as a value-added service to customers.

"Import Fees Deposit" represents an estimate of the Import Fees that will be levied on the items in your order for shipment to countries outside of the US. By placing your order, you agree to allow Amazon Export and/or Merchant (as applicable) to collect the Import Fees Deposit for the applicable items in your order. This deposit will be used, in your name and on your behalf, to reimburse the Designated Carriers for the import fees that they have paid in your name and on your behalf to the appropriate authorities of the destination country.

You further agree that the Designated Carriers may disclose to Amazon Export or Merchant (as applicable) the amount of actual Import Fees levied and paid on the items you have purchased from Amazon Export and/or Merchant ("Actual Import Fees"). In the event that the Import Fees Deposit exceeds the Actual Import Fees, Amazon Export or Merchant (as applicable) will refund the difference to you.

In the case of gifts or other purchases made on behalf of another recipient, you agree to secure and make the foregoing authorizations to Amazon Export on behalf of the recipient designated in your order.

To obtain details regarding the Actual Import Fees, or to obtain documentation or receipts in connection with customs clearance, you must contact the Designated Carrier specified in your shipment confirmation e-mail.

These terms and conditions are in addition to the standard Conditions of Use of the Amazon website. Pursuant to those terms, title and risk of loss for the items transfer to the recipient upon delivery to the common carrier in the United States.

Changing or Cancelling Items in your Order

If an unavailable item is keeping other items on an order from shipping or you simply decide you don't need an item anymore, you can delete items from your open orders in the Order Summary in Your Account. Deleting all items in an order will cancel the entire order.


To cancel an item or an entire order

  1. Visit the Order Summary in Your Account.
  2. Click the Need to cancel an item? button.
  3. Click the check box next to each item you wish to remove from the order. If you wish to cancel the entire order, check all the items.
  4. Click the Cancel checked items button when finished.

Adding Items and Combining Orders

If you wish to add an item to an open order, you essentially need to place a new order for the item you wish to purchase and then combine that new order with your existing open order.

To add items or combine order

  1. Add the new item to your shopping cart and Proceed to Checkout to complete the order.
  2. Visit the Order Summary in Your Account.
  3. Click the Want to combine orders? button. This button will only appear if you have two or more open orders that can be combined.
  4. Click the check box next to each order you wish to combine and click the Combine orders button when finished.
  5. If the orders you're combining have different shipping or payment options, we will ask you to confirm the options of the new order.
  6. Review the new combined order and click the Change button next to any information you wish to edit.
  7. Click the Confirm order button to place the new combined order.

Note: We're unable to combine or add items to the following types of orders:

  • Orders where items have already entered the shipping process
  • Orders to be sent via free Super Saver Shipping
  • Orders for gift cards
  • Orders paid for in total by gift cards
  • Replacement orders generated by our customer service department
  • Orders for cell phone products and services
  • Orders placed using a corporate account
  • Orders placed with Amazon Merchants
  • Gold Box orders
  • Orders containing items not yet released
  • Orders paid for with different currencies
  • Orders to which promotional funds have been applied

Changing an Amazon Fulfilled Order Before It Ships

Most orders you place on The Comedy Central Shop enter the shipping process very quickly so we can get your items to you as soon as possible. Orders already in the shipping process cannot be modified.

You can update your unshipped orders by visiting the Order Summary in Your Account and then clicking the Change button next to each item you wish to modify (billing address, shipping address, payment method, gift options, etc. ).

To edit an order from the Order Summary in Your Account:

  1. Click the Your Account link at the top of any Amazon.com page or visit it directly at www.amazon.com/your-account.
  2. Visit the Order Summary for the order you wish to change. Note: Orders that have entered the shipping process cannot be modified.
  3. Follow the on-screen instructions to update the desired information.

When To Expect Your Order

Our estimated delivery date for your order is based how quickly we can obtain and ship your items, your shipping address, and the shipping speed and options you chose.

Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO Addresses

Standard Shipping Deliveries may take longer--up to 21 days for APO/FPO addresses.

Shipping Methods and Carriers

We use a variety of carriers for each shipping option, and will choose the most appropriate delivery method for your desired shipping address. Most items may be shipped to P.O. boxes. It is not possible to specify a preferred carrier when placing your order. When you select One-Day or Two-Day Shipping, we may use air or ground shipping as necessary to get your items to you within the promised time frame.

  • Shipping to Alaska, Hawaii, or APO/FPO Addresses
  • Some items cannot be shipped to these destinations or shipping method choices may be limited. See our list of Shipping Restrictions or check the item's section for eligibility.
  • Shipping to a P.O. box: Some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a street address.
  • Signature Requirements: Signature upon delivery required for shipments over $700


Canceling Orders

Most orders you place on Amazon.com enter the shipping process fast so we can get your items to you as soon as possible.

  • If your order hasn't shipped: You can cancel the order via the Your Account page.
  • If your order has already shipped: Since orders in the shipping process cannot be modified, you'll need to refuse delivery or initiate a return when the item arrives. Please review our Refunds and Returns section.

Damaged or Defective Items

If the item has a damaged or defective part, contact the manufacturer to see if they can have the part shipped directly to you.

Otherwise, visit our Returns Center to initiate a return.


Wrong or Missing Items

If you received the wrong item or an item you didn't order, visit our Returns Center to initiate a return.

If you're missing an item, check the packing slip that was included with your shipment. In order to fill your order quickly with items already in stock at different fulfillment centers, we may have split your order into multiple shipments, which we would indicate on the packing slip.

If this is the case, you will not be charged any additional shipping costs beyond those you originally authorized.

Address Accuracy

Make sure you get your stuff! Incorrectly entered addresses may unnecessarily delay shipment. Please enter address information in the appropriate boxes and double-check for typos and other errors. Need help? Click for address tips:

APO, FPO, and DPO Addresses

Having trouble entering an APO, FPO, or DPO address on our order form? Following these steps should help:

  • City field: Enter "APO, ""FPO, " or "DPO. "
  • State/Province/Region field: Enter the two-letter code for the region where the recipient is stationed. Typically, but not always, the code is "AE" for recipients stationed in Europe, Canada, Africa, or the Middle East; "AA" for recipients stationed in the Americas; and "AP" for recipients stationed in Asia or the Pacific.
  • Country field: Always select "United States" from the drop-down menu regardless of where the recipient is stationed.

Following these steps will ensure that you're charged the correct shipping amount and that your order will be delivered in a timely fashion. All shipments to APO, FPO, DPO addresses are sent via U.S. Priority or First Class Mail. We estimate 5 to 7 business days for delivery once the order has been shipped; however, some destinations may take up to 21 days.

Please note that the following items cannot be shipped to APO, FPO, or DPO addresses: Apparel, camera and photo items, cell phones and service, computers, most electronics items, hardware, house wares, kitchen items, outdoor living items, software (including games), and tools.

Guam and U.S. Protectorates/Insular Areas

Having trouble addresses for Puerto Rico, Virgin Islands (U.S. ), Guam, American Samoa, Marshall Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, Palau, or Federated States of Micronesia? Following these steps should help:

  • Country field: Select "United States. "
  • ZIP Code field: Always double-check for the correct ZIP code.

Commercial Mail Receiving Agency (CMRA) Addresses

If you're a private mailbox holder (use a local commercial mail receiving agency), do not use "Box" for your mailbox number; instead, use # or PMB. This will help make sure that your address is not mistaken for a P.O. Box, and that orders can ship to you via means other than the U.S. Postal Service.


Undeliverable Packages

Occasionally packages are returned to us as undeliverable. When the carrier returns an undeliverable package to us, we issue a full refund (including shipping charges).

We are unable to re-ship orders that are returned to us as undeliverable. If you would still like to purchase items that were undeliverable, you are welcome to place a new order on our website.

If you suspect your order cannot be delivered as addressed and you have not received confirmation of its return or refund after 4 weeks from the estimated delivery date, please contact us using the button on the right side of this page.

Why was my package undeliverable?

Our carriers may deem a package undeliverable for one of the following reasons:

Item is too big for a P.O. box Some items too big to ship to a P.O. box must be shipped to a street address.

Incorrect Address. If the address is incorrect or outdated, the package is typically returned to us by the carrier or the unintended recipient. Please double-check your address carefully when placing a new order.

If an APO or FPO address is entered as an international address, the package will not reach its destination. Click here for more information on entering an APO or FPO address on the order form.

To remove an outdated or incorrect address from your account, click the "Manage your address book" link under the Account Settings heading in Your Account. Click either the Edit button or the Delete Address button beneath the address you want to change or remove.

Carrier Does Not Deliver to the Address. The U.S. Postal Service does not deliver to some addresses. If you also have a PO Box address, it's best to use that address for your Amazon.com orders. All orders with "PO BOX" in the address are automatically shipped via U.S. Mail. Also, if you (or your office) have put in a request for address forwarding, please note that the U.S. Postal Service only forwards first-class mail and magazines, and does not forward packages.

Carrier Does Not Deliver to the Address. If a post office box address was entered in a format our system does not recognize, the package may be shipped through a carrier that cannot deliver to a post office box. To ensure that such packages are routed through the proper carriers, please enter the box number as "PO BOX" followed by the number. Also, if you're a private mailbox holder (use a local commercial mail receiving agency), do not use "Box" for your mailbox number, instead use # or PMB. This will ensure that your address is not mistaken to be a P.O. Box, and that orders can ship to you via means other than the U.S. Postal Service.

Other Address Problems. If the order is being shipped to a prison, there may be delivery restrictions associated with the items or shippers. These restrictions are determined by the penitentiary and may vary.

In rare cases, it is also possible that the address label became illegible during the shipping and handling process, or that the carrier made a mistake and left the package at a different address then what was printed on the label.

Failed Delivery Attempts. Most of our carriers make three attempts to deliver a package. Packages that contain more than $700 of merchandise will always require a signature; otherwise, it is generally up to the driver's discretion to determine whether a signature is required. If the driver feels it is best to obtain a signature and no one is present to accept the delivery after three attempts, the package will be returned to us.

Refused by Recipient. If a gift recipient is not expecting a gift, they may refuse the package if they believe it was sent to them in error. If you still want to send these items, you may want to let the recipient know that a surprise is on the way.


Weather and Service Delays

If you live in an area experiencing severe weather that may cause an unexpected service delay, please add an additional 1 to 2 days to the estimated delivery date of your order.

Returns

  • Be sure to specify the reason for the return request in the body of your "Question," and indicate any preference for replacement (whether exchanging for an identical product or selecting an alternate style, size or color) or a refund.
  • Select "Return Authorization Request" as the topic for your contact.
  • Once the topic is selected, you will be asked to define the product that you are requesting authorization for.

Defect/Damages

In cases of damage or defect, the return process can often be expedited by providing a digital image of the damage or defect (along with a clear description of the problem) in an email to our customer support team. In many cases, action (in the form of reprint or refund) can be taken as soon as substantiation of the claim has been provided by the customer. If the damage / defect cannot be verified over the phone or via email contact, the item may be required to return to Zazzle for inspection before a determination can be made as to the state of the product.

Zazzle will provide a prepaid return shipping label in cases where items have arrived in damaged condition or are confirmed by a Zazzle representative to be defective.

For all other cases, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. Under no circumstance does Zazzle reimburse (or provide credit) for return shipping costs incurred by the customer. If a product is damaged or defective, the recipient must make arrangements with Zazzle support as to how the return should be handled prior to placing the items back in transit to Zazzle.
