| | Description | Step into the adorably deranged world of Sarah Silverman as she goes about living her life, which on any given day can include taking in a homeless man, exploring her sexuality, suing Home Alone the movie or attempting to marry her dog Doug. Along with her sister Laura (Laura Silverman), geeky gay neighbors Brian and Steve (Brian Posehn and Steve Agee) and Officer Jay (Jay Johnston), Sarah manages to fall into some pretty unique, sometimes unsettling and always hilarious predicaments. But no matter how weird, wonky or just plain wrong things get, she always manages to land right side up in her upside-down world. Now, for the first time, get all 32 episodes with all-new extras in one complete DVD set!

Sarah Silverman is Magic Jul 19, 2012
By J.L. Except for Dog Bites Man, no TV series has induced more rib-hurting laughter in me. I adore this show.
In my humble opinion, Sarah Silverman is freaking hilarious. What she says is funny, but it's *how* she says it - subtle inflections and mannerisms - that makes her extraordinarily funny.
And if you think that she is spewing vulgarities and bigotry just to get a few shock-giggles, you aren't paying enough attention. She is more morally-serious than you probably realize. She does these things to magnify absurdity--to make them ironic and dumb.
And Brian and Steve... oh my, what a pair. Other than Troy and Abed on _Community_, I haven't seen a better dynamic between two characters.
You won't find many (any?) shows as hilarious, conceptually interesting, and risky. May you make many more TV shows, Sarah Silverman.

Finallly season 3! Jul 09, 2012
By Aaron S. Johnson You have to buy the box set to get season 3 which is a small bummer because I already owned season 1 and 2. BUT it's Sarah! It was worth it! Lose your ego, sit back and have fun. In my opinion The Sarah Silverman Program was the best thing to happen to tv in a long time.

Classic show, the right taste loves it, if you are at all boring or square, it is not for you. Apr 09, 2013
By Sjur03 It is not only not for boring and dull and square people who are easy offended, but those people do not deserve the joy this show brings real, fun, and interesting people who get the fact that Sarah is being controversial ironically, showing that nothing should shock you if you are smart enough to handle life.

Sarah is funny! Jun 21, 2012
By Patrick C This show was one of the best shows on TV. Funny writing, amazing comedic performances, and funny songs sung by Sarah. The supporting cast consists of Sarah's sister Laura, Sarah's gay pot head neighbors Brian and Steve, and Laura's cop boyfriend Jay. If you are wanting to buy a TV show box set, get this one. This show will keep you entertained from Episode 1 clear until the last episode. During it's run on TV, Sarah was nominated for an Emmy! I'm not sure what special features are on the set yet, because it hasn't arrived at my house yet! I hope the special features are as great as the show is. Definitely worth $45! Get this EMMY nominated show!
