The artwork on the mugs washed off the first time we cleaned them. We ordered the same mug in late 2011 and it was fine. We accidentally broke that mug. I don't think we should have to pay shipping for new mugs.
Very disappointed.

Mug is as described. It is an average size, and nicely constructed. But after 3 months of use for both hot and cold beverages the logo has started coming off! The CC on the "Comedy Central" side has started to crack, bubble, and very obviously come off. I am fairly disappointed, especially for a $14 coffee mug.

I ordered the mug as a gift for a fan of the show and after opening it, my first thought was I'll have to return it because some of the letters on the "Daily Show" logo are *noticeably blemished*. The mug was also a bit smaller than I thought it would be. But, having to return a $14 item, what a pain in the ass. So I peeled off the Made In China sticker and decided to keep it because I enjoy the show as well. I'll find another gift.
So you have to ask yourself... do you want to spend $21 (including s/h) for what is likely to be a sub-standard "Daily Show" mug?

I'm a huge fan of The Daily Show, so you can imagine my disappointment when I opened the nice box and found a small, unappealing mug with blemishes...spots of white, especially one that has 'bubbled', that will probably crack because they have no finish. Yuck. I bought it as a gift, but am too embarrassed to give it! The Colbert Report mug, on the other hand, is AWESOME! It is large and has a great design and handle, and no imperfections.

Don't put it in the dishwasher Nov 18, 2012

I bought this as a gift for my wife who loves The Daily Show. She got it and loved it, but the first time she used it she put it in the dishwasher and half the Daily Show logo came off. I tried to get it replaced and they wouldn't do it. I am a fan of The Colbert Report also and wanted one of their mugs for me, but I'm not even going to get one if the logo is gonna come off when I wash it. Don't waste your money.
