carlos mencia truly rocks
the first time i heard of carlos mencia or his show was about 1 yr. ago. i happend to see his "no strings attached" concert on comedy central. OMG! did this guy make me roar!!! i truly think he is one of the BEST comedians that i have ever heard. in fact, he is my favorite! i then started catching his shows on tv and each and every episode just makes me laugh from my heart and soul! i love his energy on stage. i admire him and give him props for saying the things that we all are guilty of thinking about in our innermost thoughts without worrying about being politically incorrect. He don't care because we all are guilty of thinking this way. but he always emphisizes that we all need to laugh at ourselves just like he laughs at himself. so, like he says all you people that ain't laughing, truly ain't livin!!!!!

He trys way too hard to be like Dave Chappelle. Like, Dave would do comedy witch touched on race, but was also equally about pop culture. Carlos just rips on race all the time. It was like, "Dave is outta the way due to his break down.....maybe i can step in!" I will say, he's funny, just the fact that he tries to out do Chappelle pisses me off

Think about it
The idea of using other people material is not new. The comics of the past did it all the time. They would put their own spin on it just like Carlos. Many times it was funnier than the original. Ex. 3 Stooges Vs Abbott Costello, Shemp used to write for A C and took gags from his brothers all the time. Till Moe was going to sue A C,but ********* talked him out of it.(*********owned the rights to both groups). So its being done all the time, so enough already. The real question is did you laugh? Yes, then it was funny. If not then you wouldn't laugh no matter who said it.

If you think Carlos show sucks, then you have no sense of comedy, and your jealous. I think that Carlos Mencia is the best comedian on his line of shows so far... and yesss... My friend, Kandice told me one earlier today and if I write it here, and you laugh, does that mean I'm a thief as well? NO! It's not about the material that makes the joke......IT'S THE DELIVERY THAT MAKES A COMEDIAN! I can tell you that, yeah....I've seen A LOT of comedians do jokes that pretty much talk about the same situations....and I consider myself to be a humorous kind of person.....There aren't many comedians that make me laugh....and I have heard Joe's, George Lopez's and Ari's jokes and they aren't funny! I just sat there wondering when I was gonna bust a gut AND NEVER DID!
