A third CD from Hawaiian comedian Augie Tulba makes a point of using new material (apparently other comics have been using some of his material after an extremely successful DVD), but stays mostly local in the topics. Hawaiian habits and the folly of tourists make a lump of it, but ultimately much of the material is essentially without culture. The quirks of a marriage, dealing with relatives, the hardships of a working life -- all are really what forms the basis of the album. This is basic blue-collar working humor, but with a regional coat of paint. Ultimately, the sheer mass of Hawaiian references may lose the non-Hawaiian listeners. The recording quality leaves plenty to be desired, since it's a live album apparently with a stationary mic and a non-stationary comic, but for those who enjoyed the previous albums it shouldn't be an issue. ~ Adam Greenberg, All Music Guide
