From the inventive mind of Jeff Dunham comes the first animated movie starring the world’s most beloved, failed bad guy. Get ready to see Achmed the Dead Terrorist like you’ve never seen him before! In Achmed Saves America, the Little Skeleton That Couldn’t unexpectedly finds himself in Americaville, USA. There, Achmed is mistaken as a French exchange student while he bumblingly plots to destroy the town and all its “infidels.” But when exposed to the sweet things in life, including all-you-can-eat buffets and frozen yogurt, Achmed’s campaign of hate turns into a patriotic all-American lovefest. For the first time, Jeff Dunham brings his unique brand of comedy to a whole new medium as creator and voice-star of Achmed Saves America.

Just Another Cartoon Mar 20, 2014
By Kyle Staskiewicz
I've loved everything Jeff Dunham has done from the beginning, but after having just watched this, I can't say I was all that impressed with it.
Overall, it was extremely lacking in comedic value. Normally watching one of Jeff Dunham's specials, I spend the entire time laughing uncontrollably. This... Well... There were a few small jokes that made me giggle. That was about it.
The cartoon seems entirely focused on the story line and not at all focused on comedy. The beginning part of the movie leading up to him arriving in America was drawn-out and, to put it simply, boring. The rest of the story was somewhat interesting, but again, i was expecting a lot more comedy than was present.
Ultimately, I think it was the lack of interaction between Dunham and Achmed that made this cartoon less interesting than a stand-up special. Normally on stage they're cracking jokes at each other's expense, and the atmosphere is much more lively. The animation completely removes Dunham from the picture, along with a lot of his comedy.

waste of money, seriously Jeff, WHY? Mar 20, 2014
By Kimberly A. Miller
I Love Jeff Dunham, and everything he's done. I could watch all of his movies a hundred times. This, however, is GARBAGE. I don't think I laughed once, and I shut it off 1/2 way through. It's really unfortunate you can't return movies now-a-days because I feel like I just threw money away on this. Save yourself the time and money and just watch some old school Jeff Dunham instead.

Fun Video Jun 11, 2014
By John Harwell
The video is fun. I do not regret buying it. The problem is that Jeff Dunham's charm and wit far out shine in "live" performances than in a "voice-over" cartoons. I can understand the experiment but I am not so much a fan.
Again, I will re-watch it because it is cute but Jeff Dunham shines on stage, not as a cartoon.

My fault as I didn't realize this was a cartoon. Cute but not worth the money

I waited a week Mar 29, 2014
Jeff fafa Dunham set the bar too high. Following it up with a shell of a cartoon makes a rich character seem....well, one dimentional. It will be a long time for me to re watch the really great live stage stuff. Not your best...and ripping off coyote and Roadrunner? Come on man you're a genius
