Stephen fills that void in your life you didn't know you had
Perfect, if I could only have one word to describe this book I would say that one without hesitation. Who would be so rude as to only give me one word I do not know. But as an early warning: this is NOT a book for the politically correct. It is indeed a book for those of you who love to laugh. Stephen touches upon major subjects that you may or may not care about, your likes, habits, interests, objects, and more are sure to be included in this book somewhere. Whether it�s positively or negatively mentioned it doesn�t matter, because in this book it is categorized under only one thing funny. Stephen uses irony, parodies, images, facts, personal opinions, randomness, and so much more to pretty much guarantee a laugh on every page. Overall, this book is one that I�ll love and cherish, and I�m more than sure if you love a good laugh you�ll do the same. It enthralls you with its nonstop jokes and the peek into Stephens� mind is eternally entertaining. Once you pick this up you won�t want to stop, unless of course the Colbert Report is on. This may very well be -- no scratch that, it IS the greatest book ever dictated. Truly deserving of a five-star rating, pick up this book as soon as you can, and enjoy the laughs.

Can't put it down except to cry laughing... Which of course I remove the book from getting wet...If you watch show or just seen a commercial for it you will love this book.Stephen Colbert calls us heros for buying his book but no Mr. Colbert, you are our hero...I will never read another book ever...

Amazing. Loved every page
Normally I would never buy this book. I don't find Stephen Colbert to be that funny, I far prefer Jon Stewart. However, I bought the book, and it was incredible! I would recommend everyone to buy it. If you recognize the satire it is an amazing read, and has fast become my favorite book. I commend Stephen Colbert on writing it, I look forward to what he comes up with next.

A must have on every coffee table whether in your home or in the work place! There is a copy already in the lobby of all the military installation I,v been to since the book came out. We all love it and quote it every day!!!!You should do a book signing at your near by military Exchange!!!

If the term "book" even applies to this laugh out loud gathering of Stephan Colbert's opinions and life stories then it's the best one i've read in years. There hasn't been a comedian alive that has so openly defied all of American's policies on rudeness and respect, it was awesome! From the cover page to the sticker awards in the back of the book this risque trail blazer of a novel should be on the bookshelf of everyone that calls themselves an American.

Freakin' hilarious!
This was one of the funniest books I have ever read! It kept me and my coworkers very entertained... especially at 3am! The side notes were hysterical if not funnier sometimes than the actual chapters! I recommend everyone to buy this book... remember no lending!!
