Description

Trevor Moore presents his first full-length album of straight-up party jams (and thought-provoking country melodies) that proves the founding fathers were on drugs, and laments the language barriers of being a bear. Like dub-step? Then you'll love his track about why Tom Hanks is an a-hole. Head writer and member of the IFC show "The Whitest Kids You Know," Moore brings his signature comedic stylings to explain the perils of child pop stardom, and why his mom's a b*tch.

5Freaking Awesome  Mar 28, 2013 By Crysknife007
This is by far one of best new albums of the year.

It spans a huge range of genres and types of music making me think something like Bloodhound Gang meets Adam Sandler. I'll be playing these mp3's so many times that they start to skip. Highly highly recommend, funniest stuff I've heard in weeks.

5The only successful WKUK member strikes gold - again!  Jul 19, 2013 By Zack
Trevor Moore certainly appears to be the only cast member of Whitest Kids U Know to have a career after it went off the air. "Drunk Texts To Myself" is a seemingly Weird Al, pre "Marshall Mathers LP" inspired rap. Catchy beats, punchy and well delivered jokes and insults, as well as riffs about drugs and the Pope make this album a true comedy classic. I could not get the songs out of my head after I first played the album through.

The humor is explicit and definitely crude at some points, but Moore presents it in such a whimsical fashion that you can't help but smile and laugh a bit.

5Trevor Moore's debut album is incredible! If you're a "Whitest Kids U'Know" fan or not this is a must have...  May 20, 2013 By Shadrach Robinson
I'm so pleased that even with WKUK going into retirement after so many years of providing in my opinion the absolute best sketch comedy & hilarious music videos (Such as "Hitler Rap" which by going viral was a major reason for WKUK to be noticed by the world) which Trevor Moore the WKUK founder was the lead singer or the equivalent of the foundation of said music videos. For the many many years I've followed WKUK and been a fan I've always recognized Trevor's additional talent as a musician and hoped he would pursue the creation of at the very least one album... My dream has come true and as usual Trevor expresses his epicness with only the most potent satire of our current time.

He combines *all* of his past experience showing yet again his versatility by bouncing between every genre on his new album "Drunk Texts To Myself" masterfully. As if it couldn't get any better the deluxe version also contains the music videos he created for: "The Founding Fathers", "Pope Rap", and "What About Mouthwash?". I highly recommend you go watch these three music videos on youtube if for any reason you have doubt about purchasing his debut music album.

If you're thinking that this album is just a nostalgic side project only for hardcore WKUK fans you're terribly mistaken. Trevor has put every ounce of extensive experience from the past 13 years of every satirical music video he created as a part of WKUK and alongside their amazing sketches. This album is not to be passed up and easily destroys any of the current "popular mainstream" US music artists work with his unique combination of intelligent, satirical, historically factual, and experience mixed with natural talent makes the price seem far to cheap.

Please purchase his album to express your support to Trevor letting him know that this shouldn't be a one time thing but for him to continue on to make more music and music videos. Remember this is his own personal solo project, by buying his album you also are making an investment towards giving him the ability to continue creating such amazing work!

Trevor Moore you sir are a god among men! *SALUTE*

5Next best thing to WKUK coming back!  Apr 05, 2013 By steven
Great album from Trevor Moore star of The Whitest Kids You Know (one song has the music comedy genius Reggie Watts and another has Timmy!). Real funny has songs making fun of stuff from the Pope to Child music stars, mostly political, religious and drunk humor (as any WKUK fan should expect). Has music from lots of genres like: rap, country, rock and pop. If you like WKUK or jonlajoie you're love this. If you want to know if this is for you look up the "Pope Rap" on youtube. I'll be listing to this till the WKUK movie comes out!

5Good sound, catchy, funny and topical  Jun 27, 2013 By Daniel L. Jones
Trevor Moore of Whitest Kids U Know fame does a great job creating humorous and topical songs from subjects ranging from the founding fathers being thug gangstas to the catholic church being money hungry mobsters to parents selling their kids to music producers. Probably going to be well underrated for the quality of what Mr. Moore has produced.
