Description

Wyatt Cenac is a comedy person. That means he tells jokes in exchange for laughs. He's won fancy TV awards doing comedy person things as a writer and performer on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. On one particular night he personed comedy in front of a live audience in New York City and filmed the whole thing. He did this for you. It would be a shame if you didn't buy this CD right now. Or steal it. But it's probably better for everybody if you bought it.

4Very good!  Oct 10, 2012 By Q
Firstly, sorry about the title - I suck at writing them. Usually they end up being longer than the review itself. Oh, and for that matter, this review doesn't get much better content wise, so, I'll do you a favor:

One liner: It's witty, funny, and not appropriate for most audiences - I recommend it.

Now...

I don't know why I expected Wyatt's work to be so much more similar to his work on the Daily Show. It's got similarities, mostly in presentation and timing, however, it's also less liberal and less politically correct. I purchased this album with about twenty other works by various comedians, and this is one that stood out.

Wait, I guess that wasn't so bad.

5Hysterical  Sep 15, 2011 By Jonathan Anderson
My viewings of The Daily Show have fallen off in recent years, not out of disappointment or issues with the show but rather just time constraints, so I'm not familiar with Wyatt Cenac from that program other than in name only. As a result this album caught me totally by surprise. I laughed so hard at so much of this album. Cenac is wonderfully deadpan and unlike his colleague Rob Riggle on his episode of Comedy Central Presents the material and delivery felt unique to him (even if the target is rather cliche such as cat videos on YouTube). Anxious to see more of him in the future.

5Very clever and original!  Apr 03, 2013 By David
Fans of Jim Gaffigan, Jerry Seinfeld and other observational humorists will enjoy this excellent CD. It is original, funny and clever.

5if you liked him on The Daily Show get this CD  Apr 09, 2012 By John A. Habig
easily one of the most underrated comics today, even when he does typical humor like race relations he has a very fresh delivery and perspective on it plus you can tell he worked on making his whole performance flow very seemlessly where it builds up and goes back to a point to make a good laugh

5Didn't expect this to be so good.  Oct 22, 2011 By J. Marzolf "hater"
I am a huge fan/follower of the daily show and have always found Wyatt's delivery there to be shaky at best. This material on this album is funny, well-written, and performed extremely tight and polished.
